"Earth, Wood, & Flowers LLC is a new business that offers services in outdoor landscaping including landscaping design services, hardscaping ,flower beds, retaining walls, fencing, decks, gazebos, lawn maintenance, water features, and snow removal.

The company has two full time employees and Snyder said he anticipates hiring two more. "Business is flying at us pretty fast right now," he said." and we're just getting going."

Both Snyder and Hurt's experience includes working at Groby's Garden Center, which closed about five years ago.

Snyder's wife, Sue Groby Snyder, does all the specialty pots for the company. Her family owned Groby's Garden Center.

The new company won the Mayor's Choice Best Landscape Award at the 2010 Dayton Home and Garden Show at the Dayton Convention Center at the beginning of March."
